(This was posted on my personal blog, FreeStyleDive a few days ago)

One of the ideas (called buzz.PK) I’ve been spending a few nights and weekends on is finally ready to jump into a public beta…go here to check it out :http://buzz.ittazee.com/
buzz.pk is agrregates lots of rss feeds, all focusing on Pakistan’s tech, news, blog, images and video scene, and puts them all in one clean discovery space. You can scan the news, see what bloggers are upto, and what new images were posted on flickr today. I’m sure it will be alot more encouraging and factual than what we hear on the fox news network , and will go better with your morning chai/coffee
It also made it to the Museum of Modern Betas, a popular project that tracks Web2.0 apps from around the globe.
Its still got some tweaking to do, but please do check it out, and provide feedback. Would really like to build version 2.0 with direction from the app’s users…
Hope you find it useful as a daily tool!

I have been visiting it from tomorrow. It looks nice. Congrats on launching it.
I will be using it on daily basis and will try to provide my feedback accordingly.

Hey Mohtashim!
Great work! Hobby projects are really cool in that they can morph into something wonderful.
Buzz.pk is limited in what it does currently. You’re listing 9 feeds currently which raises an interesting question:
Why these 9? There 100s of Pakistani Bloggers (bloggers.pk) what takes a blog to this list?
There are alot of things you can do:
Show del.icio.us, digg, Google News etc feeds for ‘Pakistan’ tags
It would be nice if you can make an algorithm which could find a popular story or a current topic under discussion.
Just my feeback. Great work!

thanks for the feedback.its actually listing about 25 odd feeds broken up into a few pages.. (tech, news, blog feeds, images, etc) currently it does get google news and digg on the news page…will also soon add technorati using its authority tags.
as to which blogs are shown, yes that is an interesting question. right now i am adding blogs above a certain popularity level…i agree with you that there should be a way to submit, list, get ranked, etc…
