Techlogix to implement Oracle’s Campus ERP at LUMS

LUMS has selected Oracle’s Peoplesoft campus solutions as its choice for an automated campus solution. This version of PeopleSoft covers the usual ERP functions plus includes modules tailored for university campuses, ie such as class registrations, tutions, scholarship reimbursements,etc.
The implementation and delivery of this project has gone to Techlogix, which along with LUMS will be implementing the solution at several HEC universities as well.
The future of the Peoplesoft campus solution now lies firmly in Techlogix’s hands 
Peoplesoft’s HR and Campus solutions are widely regarded as the best in their respective areas, and also the most expensive…
LUMS (Lahore university of management sciences) is regarded as one of the best centres of learning in the country. For it to have selected an Oracle/Peoplesoft application gives Oracle alot of credibility in the Campus solutions market, despite Peoplesoft being relatively more expensive than other solutions. If the LUMS project does succeed though, then every other university will want to dish out big bucks for the solution, and if not, dont be suprised if academic management doesnt return Oracle’s calls…

Not true since Banner was more expensive than PeopleSoft Campus Solution.
Its a good ERP for the universities and will be beneficial for them.
Well i really appreciate LUMS management to take this step and give their community the edge of Oracle World. I am Oracle Applications Consultant and thats why know the benefit of this flexible application.
