Scrybe announced today that is has closed a Series A round of financing from Adobe and LMKR. Basically that means they got a bunch of cash to keep working on their fresh and innovative calendering product that has taken the online-world by storm over the last year. I suspect that the LMKR round happened much earlier, but the announcement for both came together. LMKR is a well established IT services company based out of Islamabad.Adobe, is well, I hope I dont need to tell you who they are…! :)
Scrybe is a Islamabad based startup, that has caused international stir with their famous youtube video demoing their flash based calendaring/PIM product. All that quiet and clean of Islamabad seems to be helping them innovate, because as per the web chatter, they are really pushing the boundaries of what Flash can do. Congrats to Faizan and his team. And no, you cant see the product :) You need to one of those special/lucky/random people selected for the beta.

I am thinking such companies (scrybe, pixsense, etc) might the way of YouTube, ie who cares about revenue, just get accquired by your elder more senior friends :)
A thank you goes out to Saqib for sending me the links early in the day!
